Status

My new Wildlife of Tenerife video has not been as popular as I anticipated, even compared to my previous standards. Might as well be falling even more into extinction. I checked my analytics on YouTube Studio and the decline is very sharp, coinciding with the unlisting of some of my videos I was dissatisfied with (which I have reasoned importantly on another post), so it really might just be a population of viewers of these videos being removed. Even then it still rings to me. My website has been facing similar problems. The amount of RSS subscribers have dropped by the thousands, nobody has commented my posts in weeks, some of my posts only have one viewer, and most who do encounter it are friends and fans of me. If you didn’t know me you’d be very lucky to find it on the internet, or my reconstructions. I’m really not sure how promotive I am anymore, and I’m not sure how to make it easier to find on the web, since it’s covered by piles of many other images of the same subjects of these posts. I’ve also left a lot of Discord servers for safety reasons and because I’m less active on it now, now the biggest one I’m on is mine, as well as some friends’ servers, but it might be bad for my promotion. Some unhelpful ones may just beg or even joke about my lack of videos, but I’ve stated my important reasons for why I don’t do them as much as I used to and why I’ve unlisted them a lot before. They do not understand. As someone who loves nature and goes seeking wildlife, and also just loves living simply, my life is not devoted to social media. I don’t make garbage memes anymore or go so academic on megatheropod sizes for “who-would-win-in-a-fight-reasons”, some still think I do. As a palaeoartist who loves to express his creativity, I want to be visible in the world among other great palaeoartists (although not to the point I’m an influencer). Where and how can I promote myself better from this state, not by continuing my cringey old works but as who I am right now? What places on the internet could I spread to to interact and promote my creations? Ideas? Keep in mind that I again don't want to be an influencer.
